I started my career as an Airframes and Engines Engineer in the military. A long period in Sales and Sales Management in the computer industry followed, dedicated to customers in the trade distribution arena. I am ultimately customer and service focused, with a passion for cars and motorcycles.

I have considerable Business experience in several different sectors, medical, construction, engineering, heavy logistics which have given me a broad view. I also have a keen interest in sport. In my earlier years I competed in Slalom Canoeing and Athletics I also enjoyed time trials on track for a number of years with the now past “96 Club”. Previous interest in climbing has turned to walking/photography, nowadays with a drone in the rucksack.

Originally from North Yorkshire, I am now 56 years old, living in Cheshire with my wife Janet who is an Intensive Care Nurse at Chester. We enjoy our large extended family with children and grandchildren to keep us very busy!
