I left school in 1986 and went into the family business of food wholesale and distribution throughout the North and South of Ireland. I worked in this sector for 33 years in a very competitive market. Over the years I gained vast experience in buying and selling, the importance of customer relations, working in a team environment and the day to day logistics of running a business.

From a very young age I have always had a passion for cars. I can remember my Dad taking me to the London Motor Show at Earl’s Court when I was 5 years old, and looking at all the cars, jumping into the driver’s seat and pretending I was on the road. There is nothing quite like the smell of a new car!

I have lived in Warrenpoint, County Down all of my life and in 1998 married my wife Lisa. We have 3 children Emma, Grace and Aaron. Lisa runs her own business. Mourne Scan Clinic in Newry County Down, which is a private ultrasound scanning clinic. In my spare time I enjoy walking, watching sport and dining out.
