A Passion for Cars – About Steve

I started my career as a self-taught web designer. Since then, the majority of my background has been in sales and marketing for the web design and digital marketing industries. I’ve often been the go-to person amongst friends and family for car related discussions and I have had a strong passion for cars my entire life. Whilst I predominantly blame my parents for being such a car enthusiast; my grandfather also has to take some of the blame (credit!) as he worked in the motor trade for many years. When the opportunity to work with UK Prestige Car Brokers came up, giving me the opportunity to share my natural enthusiasm for something I love whilst working with an organisation that provides a fantastic consultancy service to clients, it was clearly meant to be.

I was born in High Wycombe and have lived in or around the Reading area for most of my life; with the exception of 3 years living in Durham whilst studying Music at University. I now live just outside Reading with my wife Rosie, who is a Teacher and Housemistress in Pangbourne. I have always been a massive car enthusiast, and when I’m not busy marketing or helping clients find the right car solution for them; I can often be found at car meets or shows in my own pride and joy (yes, my car has a name and she’s called Epona)! Outside of work and cars, I also have a big passion for musical theatre and am member of a musical theatre society called The Sainsbury Singers which produces two productions a year in Reading. I therefore spend a fair amount of my spare time rehearsing for our next production, whatever that happens to be at the time! As well as a car nut and musical performer; I am also an unashamed technology geek, a bit of a foodie and a keen golfer (when I get the chance to play)!
